Guess who's missing teeth?
Raegan is the only child in our family to have lost 2 teeth at the same time. They've been loose for weeks and were steadily drooping lower and lower so that, even though they were still in her mouth, they haven't been helping her pronounce "s" for some time. The adult teeth are already coming in, so she won't have her "window" for long. The tooth fairy managed to figure out where she slept on the first night!! With Rylee's last tooth, it took the tooth fairy 4 days to figure it out. :)
Now Raegan wants to buy a new bike with her $2. "Is it enough, Dad?" Go ahead...say no to that cute smile with the big front window!

Gila Valley Temple trip
We kind of last-minute planned this trip. But I wanted my kids to know that the temple is an important place. We always hear about temples in far away places and know we can't go there because of the distance. I don't want them to look back and say,"It was only 3 hours away...why didn't we go?"
The angel, Moroni, sits atop this temple, as most others, sounding his trump to signify that the work is going forth.Tuesday, April 27, 2010
Happy Birthday Raegan!!
Raegan has been talking and asking about her sixth birthday since her fifth birthday. How do you tell them that their birthday is so far away, they can't even count that high? So when the birthday got close enough Raegan could actually count the days left, she was very excited!
Her class sang happy birthday while her teacher gave her a birthday sticker and a grab bag of things like a sticky hand, pencil, and little notebook.
Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Morris, Raegan is set for the swim season with new goggles (which she insisted on wearing until she went to bed) ear plugs, towel and suit. She loves it when they tickle her arm, a tradition that was started when we lived with them and had to keep her quiet during church!
The birthday girl (or boy) gets to pick where we eat dinner. Raegan loves the rice at On The Border. And she thinks it's cool that they sing to her and give her a big dessert for her birthday. She was embarrassed this year, though, and hid behind Dad. :)

The Birthday Fairy strikes again!! Each time our girls have a birthday, there is a package sitting outside the door when they get home from school. This package is filled with cool birthday stuff and everyone crowds around to see what goodies the Birthday Fairy has found this time.
The girls know it's not me or Scott, or either set of grandparents, but aside from that, I'm not telling!! It's more fun that way. :)
Thank you Birthday Fairy!!!

Easter with the Moore family
We had Scott's family over for Easter dinner. The house smelled like turkey all day and we added other dishes like mashed potatoes and gravy, deviled eggs, fruit salad, rolls, chips and lots of dessert. When all the food was eaten and the candy hidden and hunted, we sat down to relax and enjoy eachother's company.
Here, Canon and Dad contemplate the important things in life. I was honestly surprised I got the picture since Canon is rarely still!

Dad...where's my bag? I found another egg!

Family Easter Celebration
That's what it's all about...Get the chocolate for mommy!
We celebrated Easter for the Morris side on Sat. with a potluck dinner and egg hunt. Then the boys got dressed and headed over for the priesthood session of Conference. We girls got to hang out and talk and even fit in a few games of cards.

You can smile now, ladies, but we all know what's going to happen to that candy when we get home.

I'm not sure how Dad and Daniel got in this picture...we asked for all the kids to line up...wait...that explains a lot.

I know it looks like a lot of grandkids, but we're actually missing 5. Matt and Megan just had a baby girl and Marilee and Clint are in Safford, AZ and weren't able to make it.
