We had a Hawaiin themed ward Christmas party this year. They wanted the bishopric to karaoke to "We Wish You A Merry Christmas", and, if you don't know already, Scott hates the spotlight. So the girls teased him all night about how they couldn't even hear him.
When we moved into this house, one of the first things Scott and I decided was where the Christmas tree would be placed. Then we waited that whole year until we could put it up. It looks so nice in the front window when it's dark.
The girls love decorating it and remembering all the ornaments they've made in school. Raegan was not happy because she felt she didn't get to decorate as much as everyone else.
Scott put together his Lego train and put it around the tree that night. What?...yes, my 36 year old husband plays with Legos. :) It keeps him young.

Canon just recently figured out where his thumb is, although he doesn't use it enough to be called a thumb sucker. I snapped this picture as he was getting comfortable right before bedtime.

This year for Halloween, we decided to be scary! We've done princesses and cowgirls, sock hop and Disney characters. Aubree wanted to be the grim reaper, Kiersten decided on a vampiress, Rylee is a zombie and I talked Raegan into being a bat girl. The school carnival went off without a hitch and everyone had fun. But when it came time for the ward Trunk-or-treat, Raegan was done with the bat girl idea and insisted on being Cinderella. This ruined our scary theme for the night. The older girls wanted me to make her the "undead" version of Cinderella with make up and blood, but I couldn't massacre that cute face. This outfit won't fit next year anyway, so we might as well let her wear it now. As always, we came home with way too much candy, and are still working it off along with Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas, I'm sure.

Canon Michael Moore, our newest addition, joined us on Oct. 26th...he missed Mom's birthday by 5 days. He was 9 lbs. 3 oz. and 21 1/2 inches long. Clearly, he gets his height from his dad. :)
The girls love their little brother. Raegan went through a little displacement, as you can tell. She needed to be in all the pictures. She jumped on Dad's back at the last minute for this one.

So this is where it all started 13 1/2 years ago. Scott and I had known eachother since I was 14, and after several on and off relationships, we decided we could stand one another :) He is my best friend, and I often joke with him that he's everything I never knew I wanted.
